could you describe:

are you riunning in stanalone or grid mode ?

if grid mode, connected to own (local) grid or osgrid ?

wich version of opensim are you using ?

binary or self-compiled ?

wich operating system ? (like windows 2003 32bit, or suse linux 10.3)

maybe even first try to update to SVN 7541 and above, according to this Mantis its probably fixed: http://opensimulator.org/mantis/view.php?id=2116

cheers
Ralf

from my research in the SVN notes (http://www.ralf-haifisch.biz/opensim/sv ... &unit=days) i would think teravus was working on "sudden death" of the http-server in SVN 7769 and later 7772

i know, this error is related to .Net/MONO object handling, like you dispose something accidently... i guess thats whats teravus was working on - not having looked up the source.

however: please update to actual HEAD or at least 7772. However, 7781 should give performance optimization (haven´t tried this yet), so basicly i would checkout 7781.

after this let us know about the number or warnings & errors while compile and try again.

to clarify: FRESH checkout (so delete all old stuff) and compile.. there was something with update failed on IRC these days.. can´t remeber exaclty...

and one further question: i understood this as a update problem, so your config did run before, right ?

cheers
Ralf

Every since Teravus's patch, I also have been getting that debug loop. It only is there when an avatar is on the sim. I talked to others and they are receving this as well. Watch that opensim.log file grow :) Hopefully it will go away very soon!

Started after this: [svn 7769] * Add a nasty hack to try and give the HttpServer a few extra lives until we dig more into what's causing it to stop listening.

I'm able to log into my sim no problem. Then it just starts the debug spam. I first thought it was my avatar, then I had a friend log into the sim. Same spam! Could be just me, but things just don't feel right after this patch. Might be I know my console screen is scrolling none stop :) Been leaving the sim down till they figure out their httpServer issue.

Running 7781

This is not a new problem, all Teravus did was make it print out on the console now so its easier to debug, these errros were always occuring just not being displayed until recently, nothing to worry about for now its only debug information.
